HSE Mining
At South Walker Creek Coal Mine, HSE operates seven large pre-strip fleets on a 7-day continuous roster. Due to expansion HSE are seeking an experienced and qualified HV Electricians and Auto Electricians for our Maintenance Team. Our fleet currently includes the following:

- Excavators Hitachi 3600,5500, 5600
- Haul Trucks Cat 789, Komatsu 830E
- Dozers D10, D11
- Graders 16, 24M
The Role - HV Electrician
- Servicing, repair & maintain large-scale mobile mining equipment in accordance with HSE maintenance systems
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Management System
- Complete General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services & Component Change outs
- Complete periodical Statutory Electrical Testing/ Inspections
- Ensure good housekeeping standards & accurate documentation
Requirements for HV Electrician Role
- Australian recognised High Voltage Electrician Trade Certificate
- Experience working on electric drive haul trucks
- High Voltage Switching certification
- High level of technical skills on the above equipment
- Solid troubleshooting & diagnostic skills
- Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Trade Certificate
- A Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment (within 5 years)
- Current LVR CPR ticket
- Current Open Drivers Licence
- Commitment to the Values and Code of Conduct of HSE Mining
The Role – Auto Electrician
- Install & commission various Wi-Fi, radio & wireless systems
- Perform the servicing, repair & maintenance of the following systems:
- Fleet Monitoring Systems
- Site telecommunications
- Wi-Fi links & wireless networks
- Semi-autonomous fleet networks
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Management System
- Respond to breakdowns on site FMS and autonomous equipment & networks
- Ensure good housekeeping standards & accurate documentation
- Conduct required inspections to maximize equipment utilisation
Requirements for Auto Electrician Role
- Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical
- Electrical License
- High level of technical skills on the above equipment
- A Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment (within 5 years)
- Current LVR CPR ticket
- Current Open Drivers Licence
- Commitment to the Values and Code of Conduct of HSE Mining
