Kalari is an innovative and prominent specialist bulk logistics provider to the mining, resources and forestry sectors and is widely recognised for quality, safety and innovation in the specialised bulk haulage sector.
The business commenced operations in the 1970s in Portland in Victoria’s south west and expanded through the late 70s and 80s.

Today, Kalari offers customised best-fit contracted solutions for high-volume logistics to many of Australia’s leading corporations across Australia serviced by a large national fleet. Kalari’s continually expanding fleet and equipment comprises over 150 prime movers and 800 trailers in various configurations of multi-combination high-productivity vehicles.

Swire Industrial Services (SIS) forms part of the Kalari business, operating a specialised coolant production facility and crushing and recycling plant at BlueScope’s Port Kembla Steelworks.

KALARI

Kalari provides bulk haulage and logistics services to the resources and forestry industries and is widely recognised for innovation in the specialised bulk haulage logistics sector. The business commenced operations in the 1970s in Portland in Victoria’s south west and expanded through the late 70s and 80s. Kalari diversified into quarry operations and the aluminium, chemical and glass industries before joining the Swire group in 1994, which created further opportunities to grow and expand into new markets throughout Australia.

Today, Kalari continues to provide specialized logistics services to the mining, forestry and resources sector, utilising a national network of depots serviced by a large national fleet.
