What is the role?
 

We are looking for experienced Multi Combination Drivers to join the Kalari team, based in our Port Augusta depot. This position will report to the Project Manager, the primary task for this position will be transporting consignments from Roxby Downs (Olympic Dam) and our depot.  Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently are crucial in this role.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
 

  • Current Multi Combination Licence
  • Acquiring and maintaining new skills, knowledge and licences as required
  • The ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high quality of work
  • Good knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management requirements
  • A motivated and positive attitude towards the transport industry
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to make concise and compelling decisions

You will have the ability to pass all pre-employment checks; which may include a medical assessment, National Police clearance check, driving license history check, reference checks, identity check, verification of tickets, licenses, accreditations and qualifications.

This position is based in Port Augusta. Drive-In/Drive-Out options are available, accommodation can be supplied. You will be required to work a roster pattern of 7 days on / 3 days off / 7 days on / 4 days off, with a 4-day weekend every 3 weeks, even time rosters are also available. These will be a combination of day and night shifts, so you will need to be flexible and able to work a varied roster.
