Long Distance Driver Moranbah

The job is based from Moranbah and travels throughout the mining areas of the Bowen Basin. Some nights you will sleep in the truck (fitted with ice pack) others you will be at home in your own bed. You do your six days on and then have 3 days off. We keep our drivers travelling to different mines to give them variety in their work and to meet the needs of our clients. 5 weeks holidays per year for shift workers. Housing package or allowance.


You will need to demonstrate:

  • A motivated and positive attitude towards the transport industry, particularly safety and compliance
  • Good knowledge of fatigue management requirements, flexibility with work with rosters


Key aspects of this role include:

  • Operation and care of equipment, professionally in a safe and compliant manner
  • Completing all documentation, pre and post-start checks
  • Essential for this role:
  • Pass police check, reference checks, company medical and supply good references from recent employers
  • A current MC drivers’ license with relevant driving experience and mechanical sympathy
  • High Risk Forklift license
  • To do the job as trained and to work with the team.
